Meet sisters, Kathy and Sandra, the owners and creators of Shugga Hi Bakery and Café. Their love of food began way back when their mother, Catherine, would prepare delicious homemade dinner and desserts for the family. She would always let the girls try a little dessert before their meal, which was always a tasty treat. Sandra greatly admired her mother’s cooking skills and would love to help mama prepare her meals. She soon became quite the chef of her own. While inheriting her mother’s tasty recipes and adding a little twist of her own, Sandra and Kathy decided to build a family legacy and create an opportunity for all of Nashville to experience a little taste of what they were blessed to have as young children. Opening their doors in the summer of 2017, Shugga Hi Bakery and Café brings everything from Mama’s delicious homestyle recipes to Sandra and Kathy’s custom creations. They take pride in treating their guests like family and serving you as if you were at their home dinner table. Keeping Mama’s tradition, it’s always recommended that you have taste of dessert first before your meal. This one is promised not to spoil your appetite!
